Seminar Objectives

Participants will:

o Learn tools to share with clients to improve their organizing skills, habits, & routines

o Explore different styles of organizing and assess one's own style

o Explore emotional, mental, & spiritual issues related to clutter & hoarding behavior

o Address how to manage procrastination or perfection tendencies

o Learn organizing skills that empower the client and the professional as well

Instructors: Lynn Biot-Gordon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree. She is a consultant for long term care facilities which includes training and in-services on a variety of topics for residents, families, and health care staff. She is the founder of Gordon Social Work Consultants.

Sandra Stimson is a Certified Activity Director and a Certified Assisted Living Administrator. In addition to serving as an Activity Director, Assistant Administrator, and Director of Alzheimer's Units in LTC and residential facilities, she develops and implements Alzheimer's units nationwide. She runs caregiver support groups and is a health educator. She is co-founder of Pet Express Pet Therapy Program and Alternative Solutions in Long Term Care.
