Gordon Social Work Consultants is a social service firm dedicated to enhancing the skills & knowledge of health care professionals in the long term care industry by offering quality education and in-service programs as well as Consultation Services.

EDUCATION: Our continuing education and staff development programs are offered to individuals and facilities alike. The mission of our firm is to contribute positively to the quality of life and care of the long term care client, by educating professionals, families, and other care givers. We specialize in CEU programs relevant to issues of the elderly and long term care.

CONSULTATION: Whether you are preparing for survey, training new staff, or developing policies, GSWC can help. The consulting component is designed specifically to assist Social Workers. We offer the only long term care training course in NJ for Social Workers who are new to or just coming back to long term care. In addition, our consultants are available to provide limited/Per Diem coverage during interims of vacation or other extended absences. Call us for details!

Lynn Biot-Gordon is a licensed clinical social worker with a Bachelors degree in psychology and a master of social work degree from Boston University. Her social work experience spans 20 years and includes mental health, hospice, long term care, and school social work. She has served in the areas of administration, direct practice, health education, and clinical supervision. She founded Gordon Social Work Consultants in 1997 to provide consultation services for long term care facilities which includes training and in-services on a variety of topics for residents, families, and health care staff.
